Full Membership

Friends Membership is aimed at those people who wish to support the work of the Observatory without becoming involved in ringing activities.

Friends are welcome to visit the observatory by prior arrangement, and will be welcome to attend several specially arranged events each year.

Friends will receive a quarterly newsletter, detailing recent observations and other Observatory news.

Friends Membership costs £10.00 for a single Friend and £12.00 for a family or joint membership.

Businesses who wish to support the work of the Observatory can join as Affiliated Friends at a cost of £15.00 per annum

Full Membership of LBO is intended for the more serious Ornithologist / Birder / Ringer and those who wish to use the facilitiies at the Observatory on a more regular basis.

Full Membership costs £20.00 Single Membership and £25.00 for a family or joint Membership.

Additionally there is a £5.00 per month Ringing Supplement for ringing members
